Creating a Referrer Account:
Step 1: Create a User
- Once you log in you want to navigate to Admin > User Management > Create
- Enter a username, generally the first letter of the first name and the last name, e.g. joe blogs would have jblogs as their username.
- Then enter first name, last name and phone/email if the information is available.
- Next you want to enter a password for the account for this use svcmi.
- For now, leave the groups blank.
- Make sure that the account has enabled and activated ticked.
- Press create.
Step 2: Create a Group
- Now you want to navigate to Admin > Groups > Create
- Name the group appropriately.
- The features/roles that are ticked by default are what a referrer will need, so leave that the way it is by default.
- Then search for the username of the user you just made and select them.
- Press create.
Step 3: Create a data access rule
- Navigate to Admin > Data Access > create/add.
- Name the rule the same as the user groups name.
- Tick the enabled box.
- Select the group you just created.
- Press the upper “+condition” button to create a new “or” condition.
- First you want to enter “$ProviderNo” in the field to test box.
- Second you want to enter the doctor’s provider number in the value box.
- Lastly you want to tick the ignore case check box.
- Press create.
The doctor’s account is now ready to use.
